I started my celebrant journey many years ago and over 3 decades I have officiated at thousands of weddings, namings, renewals and life based funeral ceremonies.   I have had the privilege of working with thousands of couples planning their special day.  I love helping them orchestrate their ceremony and over the years I have built up a vast treasure of resource materials to assist them.

Weddings can be traditional or not,  opposite or same sex,  lengthy, romantic or simple.  It is your day,  your choice.

Many of my couples come back to me to help celebrate other occasions, such as baby naming days,  renewal of marriage vows, or life based funeral or memorial services.  Many of my couples look upon me as their ‘family celebrant’ and although this is humbling, I do feel quite honoured.

Because I live in an area where there are many other nationalities and cultures I am also experienced in dealing with couples who are applying for spouse/fiance visas. 

When I not writing ceremonies I fill in my time working voluntarily for the Assoc. of Civil Marriage Celebrants of Victoria (Inc.) as Secretary,  and I am a trustee of the Noble Park Public Hall,   as well, I do voluntary work for an indigenous  community in remote WA. 

But my happiest times are spent with my children and six grandchildren some of whom are now adults and I hope to be officiating at their weddings too!
