Desmond Stow

Desmond is a Melbourne born and based Celebrant who has worked along side people of all ages to create wedding ceremonies that reflects the nature and wishes of the couple who are marrying. His experience in working co-operatively with staff and students over his years of teaching has stood him in good stead for building relationships in this wonderful role of being a celebrant.

He is happily married with four children and five stepchildren and of course multiple grandchildren.

His philosophy regarding the role as a Marriage Celebrant begins with the maxim that –
It is the Couple’s day not yours; do all you can to make it special for them.

To this end he has a friendly, supportive and professional approach to all enquiries and
has welcomed and embraced the recent change to the Marriage Act.

His experience of over twenty years as a Celebrant and his willingness to travel to various parts of the state means he has had many wonderful and enjoyable experiences fulfilling the role. Based in the Mount Waverley area Desmond offers a friendly, professional and committed approach to the role, aimed at satisfying the requirements of all couples for their wedding ceremony.
