Hi everyone,
Welcome to “I Do Marriages”. My name is John and I sincerely hope you may consider me to be part of your special day.
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Sharon, for over thirty years. Sharon’s parents have been married for over fifty years, my parents over 60 years, so between us all we have over one hundred and forty years of marriage experiences to share.

We have lived in Leopold, Geelong, since our marriage and have raised four beautiful children here – Zac, Jacob, Hannah and Sam.
I have always been passionate about families and communities. Sharon and I have two sons on the Autism spectrum and have spent many years offering support and friendship to Geelong’s Autism community. Together, Sharon and I founded The Treehouse Geelong Autism Support Group in 2005 and I founded Geelong’s very first Special Needs Auskick Clinic – Nelson Park Auskick – in 2000 and facilitated the clinic for seventeen years.

My hobbies are Garage Sale-ing, collecting vinyl records and everything else retro. I love Blues music, festivals and spending time with my family and friends.

I’ve now been officiating weddings for wonderful couples in Geelong – and even Melbourne and beyond – since 2016. It is my passion to make the day YOURS, and my fanatic commitment to the small and precious details of your special day, that I will hope will move you to consider me for the privilege of being your celebrant.
